  • If these bags don’t get dirty, you’re not doing your job. To clean, lightly rub with a brush, but we don’t recommend using water or a washing machine, as it can impact the water repellency. The color will naturally fade over time with exposure to water, sweat, friction, and the beating sun. And prolonged exposure to extremely high temperatures aren’t great for the bags either. Make sure you take your wet beach gear out at the end of the day, otherwise color may transfer. When you’re staying local, store your packs in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place to keep them safe for your next adventure.

    Love this Backpack

I have this bag in black and love it. I realize I've bought quite a few backpacks and messenger bags trying to find something I really like and this one ended my purchasing. It's a solid build, the zippers are quality and have a rubbery pull tab on them that has held up for around a year. All the cords, straps, and materials have that quality feel to them and I expect this to last quite a while. For work/school, it doesn't have a lot of organizing features to it but it does have a great padded sleeve on the side that sits against your back for a laptop. The inside is pretty cavernous, great for me as I also use this for Disneyland trips with my kids where I put in four light jackets, hats, drinks, and snacks. The two drink pockets on the outside work well with plastic water bottles and 32oz hydroflasks (just). There are straps to hold other items on the outside and the straps on top are great for carrying it off your back. I hang a couple towels off them after using this for the beach to keep the wet outside the dry. I also like that it has kind of a rectangular build to it, stands up nice (depending on packing and that the whole top opens up when unzipped (two zippers which I appreciate). Someone really took their time thinking this out.

I can't speak to water resistance as I've never had it in a downpour and I've only had it for about a year so longevity is still unknown. It still feels as good as the day I got it so I expect it to last.
