The top button works (and fits my neck), as if it'll ever be used. At least one other brand omits that.

I'm in an awkward place between L, usually labeled slim or trim and M labeled "classic" or "regular" or whatever indicates chubby. I ordered L and the fit works nicely, just loose enough at the waist without being baggy. Waist size for trunks is 34, chest measures about 41 and has taken size 40 and 42 for classic sports jackets (HartMarx and similar) at the thrift shop.

The backyard shirt is lightweight cotton that doesn't need ironing if hung to dry. The double pockets with flaps are helpful--I need reading glasses and even a non-button flap helps keep glasses and cell phones in place.

The blue (or gray) stripes on white look fine. I have both.
