    Disintegrated

    The opposite of a sweater you'd be able to wear in Donegal. Not near hearty enough

    Warm, good looking and comfortable. I washed it once on delicate and it came out looking like moths had been eating it for 10 years. My mistake--it says hand wash. But I wash cashmere and other wool items all the time in the exact same manner with no issue. Hard to overstate how much this sweater disintegrated. I threw it out--a $300 sweater after three wearings.

    Loved the sweater for the three wears I got out of it. But when I hear "Donegal" I think "rugged and ready to stand up to crap weather. No way. This was the opposite--a kid gloves product all the way.
