1st Gen trunks were my go to for beach, golf and travel (after removing the weird internal rope tie).
Dont really like the changes in this model:
- Material is shiny, less stretch and thicker.
- Lack of belt loops and button (now only uses a tie,) make these more a surf trunk than the all around hybrid that made the 1st Gen so versatile.
Will wear these less than I did the originals.

High quality, straightforward and classic. Love the fact that it comes in black. Some board shorts get a little out there with their colors. Use this for the beaches in the Great Lakes. Awesome swimsuit!!!
