If you are a tried and true medium (like me) you have a choice to make. The M/L size is large, otherwise people who wear a large wouldn’t be able to comfortably wear it. You could choose XS/S which is a roomy small. I have one in the XS/S size and it fits my torso and arms nicely. It’s roomy enough for layering clothes underneath. BUT, the sleeves are too short on me. So for this, my third prized blanket shirt, I choose the M/L. And I’m glad I sized up, because I didn’t realize I would be sharing it on chilly fall mornings.
