Vintage military pants reimagined for the perfect blend of utility and style. The Westbound Utility Pant features oversized patch pockets and a traditional button-fly closure for an authentic workwear feel, finished with an incredible garment wash for that soft, lived-in character that only gets better with wear.

Designed with a relaxed fit that runs easy through the hip and thigh for a laid-back silhouette. Adjustable back waist tabs allow you to wear it cinched high at the waist or lower on the hips for added versatility.

We recommend ordering your usual size for the intended relaxed fit. For a closer fit through the hip and thigh, consider sizing down.

Corozo nut button-front fly closure.

I love the Westbound Utility

"I love the Westbound Utility pant. The fabric is beautiful. Heavy but not too heavy. Nice pockets!. Purchased the oatmeal. Great color. Liked them so much I purchased a second pair in the Army green. I did size down on the second purchase from a 26 to a 25. Waiting for them to arrive."

The rise is perfect, the

"The rise is perfect, the color and quality are spot on and they are not too light or too heavy - just what my wife was looking for. She had a pair from last year but she lost weight and the didn't fit so I got her two new smaller pairs and she's a happy gal! And I'm a happy guy because I'm wearing her old ones! High waist fatigue style pants are back in for men :)"

— DARREN P. (5/5)

This is the third pair

"This is the third pair of these pants I've purchased. The length is perfect, the material is soft, not too heavy, and they're well constructed. I purchased a 29 and they are loose but the side tab helps for a tighter fit when needed. The length was also perfect for my towering 5'4 height, no hemming needed. I'd buy additional pairs if they came in navy or brown. Overall, an excellent purchase."

Beautiful quality, design, washed colour

"Beautiful quality, design, washed colour and overall fit. I just ordered my first pair to trial as gardening/outdoor work clothes and so far I love them. The button closure is much more comfortable than a zip and the material retains its shape and structure whilst giving a little wind wear and relaxing in fit slightly. I will be purchasing more! I tried the 30 (usually a 12), they are snug on the waist but perfect through hips and thigh."

The material, weight, fit, and

"The material, weight, fit, and look of these pants is perfect and they wash & dry like a dream. This review is 4 stars only because of the back pockets, Those really do not need flaps and buttons, it just makes using them less convenient."

— Linda L. (4/5)

Overall, I like these pants.

"Overall, I like these pants. I originally ordered my usual size, 32 but the rise and the length were too short for me. Went up a size and even with the adjustable waist, they are pretty big. I like a looser fit generally. For my body type (5’ 8, 165 lbs), the jump in sizes is pretty substantial. The fabric and style are great. I can’t say they run true to size, small or large because my usual is small and next size up is big."

— Kristen H. (5/5)

I needed something that looked

"I needed something that looked nice - not beach casual but for a greeter position at a meditation garden. The fabric and color were perfect. I told the sales people my height and weight - they consulted their records of the last pair of jeans I bought and found the right size. The fit, length, and look are perfect."

My new favorite pants. Loved

"My new favorite pants. Loved them so much I purchased two other colors. Comfy, polished and always getting compliments."

— Barbara A. (5/5)

Great pants! Run large. I

"Great pants! Run large. I sized down 1-2 sizes (based on other Outerknown shorts). I'm 5'8" and they hit just above my ankle, but don't look too cropped on me, which I like."
