    Comfortable

    The field pant fabric is softer feeling and seems a slightly heavier/denser than the utilitarian pant. Since all of the buttons on my UP’s cracked and had to be replaced, the drawstring is nice to have and will hopefully be more durable/useful. Had to size down in the FP. FWIW, overlaying a pair of size 31 FP to a 32 in the previous utilitarian pants, they’re ‘almost’ identical (waist & thighs). The FP is a bit longer (which works well for me - previous OK pants have been too short) and a bit looser. The looser fit seems to be on-trend; however, my preference is the more timeless/neutral fit of the utilitarian pants (although they were a bit short).

    BEST. DAMN.PANTS. EVER.

    I got them in Indigo and then got them in Drab. They're all I've worn for about four weeks, alternating the two. They pull together any outfit. I've received endless comments on the Drab, and zero on the Indigo, which is odd to me, because Indigo is my favorite. Would recommend these 10/10. I washed them and hung to dry. Fit is still perfect.

    I am bummed the shorter inseam sold out so quickly. I bought the 32” length and had them altered, but the way they are constructed made preserving the taper impossible. Sigh
