A massive congratulations goes out to Seth Moniz and Erin Brooks for winning the 2026 Outerknown Tahiti Pro Presented By I-SEA!

Seth Moniz has been chasing this moment for 7 years on Tour, and this week in Tahiti he finally found it, absolutely sending it on some of the heaviest, hollowest waves Teahupoʻo had to offer, heat after heat. Ranked near the bottom of the field coming into the event, his tour spot for next season was anything but guaranteed, so this win was as much about survival as it was about glory. His very first Championship Tour victory—it couldn't have come at a better time.

Erin Brooks fought through a stacked heat draw the entire event, taking down 5x world champ Carissa Moore and reigning world champ Molly Picklum, before delivering one of the most incredible finals in recent memory, where she clawed back from a deep hole against Anat Lelior with the highest-scoring wave of the heat in the closing minutes. It's Erin’s first win as a full-time Tour member, and given where her year started, it might be the one that changes everything.

The 2026 Outerknown Tahiti Pro is all wrapped up and a huge mauruuru to all the surf fans who watched as closely as we did. This one was definitely incredible and to be the title sponsor this year was a dream of ours.

Tahiti has always had a special place in our hearts through the years. From Kelly’s 5 career wins at Teahupoo, to longtime Outerknown ambassador Raimana van Bastolaer—we’ve always wanted to honor this place that’s blessed us with so many memories, friendships, and epic rides.

Of course, watching Outerknown co-founder and 11x world champion Kelly Slater’s heat earlier in the event with 3x world champ Gabriel Medina certainly reminded us all why Kelly’s the GOAT, a performance that brought his record to 48 9-point rides out there. Thank you for always inspiring us, Kelly.
