95% recycled cashmere and 5% extrafine Merino wool.
By using recycled cashmere, we're saving precious natural resources and keeping a good thing going. Pre-consumer cashmere textile waste is gathered and spun into the fresh fiber we use to make these great knits.
Recycled cashmere vs. virgin cashmere: 96% CO2 savings, 92% H2O savings, and 82% energy savings.
Merino wool is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable fiber sourced from sheep.

How It Works
For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Okay, so on its own, the sweater is pretty good. At 5'11 190 lbs, the medium fits fine overall. My issue is the material. For a sweater with a non-sale price of $248, I expect the lush feeling of cashmere. What we get here is a more "coarse," non-fuzzy, cotton-like cashmere feeling. It still is soft to the touch, but not that angel soft fuzz feeling that cashmere gives. It feels more like a sweatshirt. I guess I expected a much more lush feeling for the price, even at the $160 sale price. All that being said, on its own, it's a solid all-purpose sweater, good fit, nice color. Docking a star for value.
