For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

I like the idea of having your own straw and re-using it rather than adding plastic or paper to land fills. The tip you have added to your straw makes it comfortable to use. And, the paper straws offered at restaurants don’t last through a meal anyway!

I buy them all the time to give as gifts to get people to see there are options from plastic. I have been using same one for 6 months been thru dishwasher 4 or 5 dozen times and still works great

We all know plastic straws are no bueno but going without isn’t always an option, especially if you have kids. I bought a handful of these so we’d always have a clean one on hand and they have been great. A little short for the biggest of drinks but it will reach the bottom. The silicon (or whatever material) at the top makes it great to drink out of, much better than an all metal straw. So it feels good to drink out of and me and my boys feel good about reducing plastic waste.
