A plastic water bottle can take up to 500 years to break down, so Girlfriend Collective opts for recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic water bottles. Each pair of shorts diverts 11.25 bottles, 15.1 lbs of CO2 and saves 2.7 KWH of energy.
Dyed with safe OEKO-TEX®-certified dyes. Water meets EPA standards before it’s released and remaining dye mud is turned into paving stones.
