- The rugged NATO strap—a style originally introduced in the British Ministry of Defence Standard 66-15—is made of regenerated ECONYL® nylon. Straps are interchangeable and additional straps can be purchased separately.
- The screwed stainless steel caseback is engraved with the Outerknown logo, and the strap is detailed with an OK embroidery.
- The COSC-certified chronometer is water-resistant to 100 bar / 1000 meters, so it will more than meet the needs of any underwater adventure.
- The watch is self-winding, powered by the Breitling Caliber 17, which offers a power reserve of about 38 hours.
- Super-LumiNova® luminescent numerals, indexes, and hands.
- Each watch is presented in packaging made entirely of recycled materials.

Originally engineered for deep sea divers in 1957, the heritage SuperOcean design has been updated with an ultra-durable NATO strap. Each one is woven with regenerated ECONYL® nylon yarn, made from fishing nets and other nylon waste.

For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
