Lynn, our weaving specialist calls this a hobnail weave. It's super flexible and breathes well.
The fabric is a mix of linen, wool and a pinch of nylon.
Linen doesn't take a lot of water to grow, it's similar to hemp in that it's naturally pest resistant, and all parts of the plant can be used after harvesting.
Wool is great because it's naturally antimicrobial and totally compostable.
