I accosted a man wearing the men’s version of this shirt and I found out where it was from and realized that I could get a women’s version (I LOVE the blue plaid thick fabric!). It arrived and while I did like it, the fit was really boxy. I’ve never had a shirt tailored before but I liked the shirt enough that I found a great tailor in Seattle and had the sides of the shirt taken in. Now the shirt is 5 stars but it was a lot of time, work, and extra money to get there.

Bought the rainbow stripe for my sister, she loves it! It’s the updated fit that is longer and built for bigger sizes than the original fit. Bought the M/L for her.

I have nothing to add to the other rave reviews of the Blanket Shirt, so here are the caveats that I didn't expect but which didn't detract from my love for it: The women's cut is not as boxy, so though I normally fit a size S, the XS/S size didn't have as relaxed a fit as I was hoping for. I exchanged for a M/L and do not feel it is excessively big at all. I misinterpreted "Blanket Shirt" to mean it would have a flannel feel, but this is actually a sturdy and thick fabric that I haven't seen on any other shirt. The pattern is woven in with thick threads. It's pretty incredible! I don't normally put my clothes in the dryer, but I put this in once, and it did shrink a tiny bit (seams are a little more puckered). Probably only noticeable to me.

The quality of the shirt is great!! For reference, I’m 5’7 135lbs, 34 busy, and athletic. The xs/s fit, but the arms were too short so I had to order the M/L. The M/L fit perfect in the arms but the body of the shirt was huge. I kept the M/L because I could rock the oversized fit. When I washed it I followed the directions on the tag and sadly the arm shrunk!! So if yours fits perfectly- hang to dry. I did extra low heat and it shrunk. Uhg. So now I have the a shirt that the body is oversized and the sleeves are not. I wish the woman’s sizes came in xs, s, m, l etc instead of combining or that when exchanging you could exchange for me a sizes because that’s another option/fit.
