Outerknown Blanket Shirts are staples for my wardrobe for a significant portion of the year, delicately balancing being warm enough for cooler fall days and light enough to last through spring as it starts getting warmer. As someone who is chronically cold I’ll often bring one along even in the summer if going to a theater or restaurant that might have the ac cranked too high.
All in all they’re one of my absolute favorite pieces of clothing, but I only have a couple because they’re so expensive to purchase.

Outerknown very kindly sent me this shirt after reviewing another piece of clothing and I'm getting so much use out of it this Fall!
The fabric is very high quality and a perfect medium weight that lets it function more like a sweater than a shirt but without being too heavy.

I love thick, soft, burly flannels. This is a great fabric. However, the sizing is odd. At 5’10”, 170 lbs, with a 44” chest and 34” waist, I’m a solid size Large in 95% of brands. The size Large blanket shirt arrived and was too snug for a shirt that would obviously shrink after washing. I opted to return and purchase an Extra Large. After washing and drying, the XL is still a bit wide. Length of arms and body is right, but it’s loose through the body. Makes for a great over-shirt on chilly days and nights, but is hard to wear by itself. I’d buy another if OK changes the fit. Until then, one over-shirt is enough.
